　　Good morning everyone. I think the statement "The use of physical punishment is unavoidable in teaching children" is totally correct. And I am going to use different aspects such as the culture, the children and parents etc. to support any point of view.

　　Firstly, in the eyes of many former generations, they still think that physical punishment is a must during teaching due to the Chinese culture. Physical punishment has been treated as a way to train one“s children into a tough and persisting person when he or she enters the society. Since the earliest dynasty of China, using physical punishment was vital as it is recorded in some history books. For example, there was a famous caligrapher in the past who was very naughty and always caused troubles when he was small. Just because his father always used physical punishment to teach his son, hos son became more obedient and also tried to reflect on his behavior and finally he became a famous caligrapher.

　　Secondly, if the parents use physical punishment, the children may develop a consciousness that “if I did it again, I would receive the same punishment from my parents” and therefore, they would avoid making the same mistake again. Oppositely, if the children go to play without the parents“ permission and the parents just orally scold them not to do it again, but didn“t add in any physical punishment. They may think that their mistakes are not severe in their own parents“ eyes and may even make a more severe mistake in the future.

　　Furthermore, it is unavoidable because it can be treated as a training for their future lives. When the children grow older, the parents won“t add in any physical punishment anymore as they become more mature. Once they enter the society, no one will remind you of your mistakes and punish you because of that. Therefore, the alertness of children of making mistakes can be developed through physical punishment. Thus, preventing their own children from causing big troubles in the future is effective through physical punishment.
